The will to win is not nearly so important as the will to prepare to win.

The Primary Trail is a coaching and education service for dads new to family court. We don't give legal advice. We teach you how to capture what matters, organize it cleanly, communicate without hurting your case, and bring your lawyer the kind of preparation most dads only learn the hard way. The result: thousands of dollars saved, a credible record, and a clearer path through.
The cost of being unprepared lands on you, your kids, and your wallet.
Under Texas Standard or Expanded Possession, most non-custodial dads get just 6 to 8 days per month during the school year, plus a 30-day summer block and alternating holidays. The reality is closer to one in four days, not one in two.
Texas Family Code § 153.252 (Standard Possession Order); § 153.254 (Expanded SPO)A single routine hearing in Texas family court typically runs $5,000 to $25,000 in legal fees. That is not the final trial. That does not include mediation, social studies, custody evaluations, or expert witnesses. Most contested cases have several hearings before trial.
Texas family law firm fee disclosures; ABA fee surveys; Clio Legal Trends ReportFamily law attorneys bill in 15-minute increments at $300–$500 per hour. A one-word "yes" to an email costs $75 to $125. Across a contested case, those quarter-hours add up fast. Dads who bring their lawyer a packet — not a pile — save thousands.
Clio Legal Trends Report; ABA fee surveysDads new to family court. Not deadbeats. Not activists. Not trying to "win against mom." Working dads who love their kids and want to move through a hard season organized, calm, and credible.
Family court evaluates one thing above all else: what's best for the children. Our entire framework is built around helping you become the most effective advocate for that, in the eyes of the court that's actually watching.
If you've just been served, or you can see the storm coming, or you're staring at custody papers at 11pm wondering where to start, this is for you.

Register your interestNo. The Primary Trail is a coaching and education service for dads navigating family court. We coach the dad. Your attorney handles the law. We teach dads how to capture what matters, organize it cleanly, communicate without hurting their case, and reflect with honesty. We never draft legal documents, advise on legal strategy, or represent anyone. Any legal decision should be reviewed with a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
We focus specifically on dads new to family court and on a four-pillar framework: Capture, Organize, Reflect, Execute. The work is built around what family court actually evaluates: the best interest of the children. The dad who shows up to every conversation that matters — with his ex, his kids, his attorney, and himself — is a credible, organized advocate for his kids, not someone fighting his ex.
Modules map to the four pillars. Capture: how to collect and timestamp every email, text, voicemail, and document without compromising your case. Organize: building a timeline and evidence categories your lawyer can use. Reflect: tone and judgment work, including AI-assisted message review before you hit send. Execute: packaging your case for your attorney so every billable minute goes to legal work, not coordination work.
The course and community are open to dads anywhere in the United States. Education and coaching are not state-specific. The 1:1 coaching tier launches in Texas first, with in-person availability in Dallas, Collin, and Denton counties. Additional states will be added as the 1:1 program expands.
Pricing opens with founding-member rates for people who registered their interest first. We will share full pricing with the list before public launch. Every engagement starts with a free 15-minute strategy call once the program opens.
Register your interest for founding-member access when the program opens. We won't share your address.
